Abstract

Four systems from the VSS Southern Eclipsing Binary program were chosen to derive preliminary models. The systems were chosen on the basis of having multiple coverage by VSS observers of both the primary and secondary eclipses. The modelling process was initiated by using spectral data from the literature (where available) and/or B-V colours from the literature or from VSS data. As no radial velocity data are available, (and in most cases an incomplete light curve), these models can only be preliminary, but they serve as a guide to further analysis and will enable future modelling to proceed without delay once full light curves have been acquired. The systems are: AA Cru, DQ Car, V0775 Cen and BE Cru.
