Abstract

A basic guide to observing comets visually through measuring and processing your information to upload to International Comet Databases and Pro-Am Collaborative Astronomy Comet Groups.

Biography

Chris has been observing comets since Halley’s in 1986. He now resides in Walcha NSW where the bulk of his observations are made. Chris has been involved with the PACA Comet group since its inception in 2012 and wishes to continue helping others become part of the worldwide network of Comet observers, especially regarding the visual aspect.
