The obvious choice is to stay at the convention venue. The Bell City complex was once a hospital, then underwent a complete renovation and refurbishment to create a hotel and function centre. It offers three levels of accommodation:
- Rydges Bell City (4.5*)
- Sleep and Go (3.5*)
- Budget1Hotel (2.5*)
For those considering staying at Rydges, there are significant discounts and benefits if you sign up for free membership of their Priority Guest Rewards programme before making your booking. Don’t pay the rack rate.
For those who don’t want to stay at the venue, here are a few options nearby:
- Bell Motor Inn, across the road from the venue.
- St Georges Motor Inn, in Thornbury (1.5kms).
- Coburg Motor Inn (2.5kms).
Alternatively, there is a wide selection of accommodation in the Melbourne CBD, with access to the venue via tram or rail. We suggest you use web sites such as Wotif or Hotels, or your favourite search engine, to find accommodation that’s right for you.
