Abstract
Astrophysical modelling of four southern contact eclipsing binaries, using Binary Maker 3.
Biography
Col became interested in amateur astronomy about 1957 – the Sputnik era. Over the years he has graduated from visual observing to photoelectric photometry; to CCD imaging for variable star observing. Col trained as a Geologist, but has been fortunate to be able to use photometers at various professional observatories – including Mt Stromlo, Siding Spring and Black Birch in New Zealand.
