In 2013, two years after the dramatic events of the Great White Spot (GWS) which occurred in the northern hemisphere, amateur astronomers continued to follow the evolution of the "GWS zone" centered around 41 degrees planetographic on Saturn. In particular, they observed the dark oval created by the GWS. They also recovered a long-lived Saturn Electrostatic Discharge (SED) source and detected the hexagonal wave surrounding Saturn's north pole.
