Guidelines for speakers

Thanks for offering to present a talk at NACAA. Here are some guidelines to help you give a great presentation:

• Please keep to the subject we agreed to when we accepted your presentation.
• Make sure you know where your talk is in the schedule.
• Please stick to the allocated time limit for your talk. It’s ok to run short, but you can’t run over your time limit.
• Your talk will have remote attendees, so:
• NACAA will provide the following equipment for your use:
• Please let us know if you have other requirements.
• Bring your presentation with you on a USB drive, and load it on to the presenter laptop as early as possible.
• Make sure that you have checked the equipment well before your talk. This is particularly important if you will be using your own laptop, have audio or video in your presentation, etc. We are using standard HDMI connectors. Please bring an adapter if your laptop has a different connector.
