Abstract

In this talk I will present the video method for observing of eclipsing variable stars which we used in 2015 to obtain more than 70 times of minima.

Biography

Hristo has been an active occultation observer since 2007 with a few dozen video-recorded asteroidal occultations. He is the author of the free software packages Occult Watcher, Tangra and OccuRec and is also a co-author of the Astronomical Digital Video System (ADVS) and the ASCOM Video standard. In recent years Hristo became involved in video observations of variable stars and video spectroscopy.
