The 10th Trans-Tasman Symposium on Occultations will be held in conjunction with NACAA again in 2016. The symposium will start in the afternoon of Sunday March 27, and continue on Monday March 28. Stay tuned for further announcements.

ANU astronomer wins Nobel Prize
The 2011 Nobel prize in Physics has been awarded to Saul Perlmutter, Adam Riess, and Brian Schmidt “for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae”.
