Graham Blow, director of the RASNZ Occultation Section, was today awarded an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to astronomy. Graham has worked tirelessly for many years to promote occultation observations in Australia and New Zealand, and was responsible for the creation of the successful Trans-Tasman Symposia on Occultations. The 8th TTSO will be held in conjunction with NACAA XXVI.

The 10th Trans-Tasman Symposium on Occultations will be held in conjunction with NACAA again in 2016. The symposium will start in the afternoon of Sunday March 27, and continue on Monday March 28. Stay tuned for further announcements.
