Call for nominations

The Astronomical Society of Australia presented the 2014 Berenice and Arthur Page Medal to Dr Tim Napier-Munn of the AAQ for his work on modelling the factors that affect the ability to resolve close double stars. NACAA congratulates Tim for his award.

Graham Blow, director of the RASNZ Occultation Section, was today awarded an Officer of the New Zealand Order of  Merit for his services to astronomy. Prominence Training P/L continues to sponsor the operation of NACAA by funding its web site and teleconferencing costs, providing computer equipment, as well as countless hours of technical support over the last two years.
